The Ph.D. Program at the Stockholms School of Economics
The SSE Ph.D. Program is one of the cornerstones of the School. Some 200 students are currently enrolled. Work toward a Doctorate is expected to take four years of full-time study (240 ECTS).
SSE is renowned for its academic excellence, and the SSE Ph.D. programs in Economics, Finance and Business Administration are aiming at offering scholarly training of world class.
The Ph.D. program has a history of more than 60 years and has graduated over 350 Ph.D.s. SSE Ph.D. alumni hold important positions at international Business Schools, government agencies, NGOs, trade unions, banks, and throughout industry, particularly consulting services.
