CSC People - Dr Inkeri Ruuska
Associate researcher from Helsinki University of Technology
Prior to working as a researcher and completing her doctoral thesis, Social Structures as Communities for Knowledge Sharing in Project-based Environments, at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at Helsinki University of Technology, Dr Ruuska has had an extensive career working in organisational development and management. Most recently she worked as a senior executive consultant in the Finnish-based consultancy firm Talent Partners in Helsinki. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Helsinki.
Dr Ruuska’s research interests include areas such as competences and knowledge and knowledge sharing and learning through networks and communities, such as communities of practice. She is especially interested in project-based environments as they pose challenges due to their temporary and dispersed nature. Her current research involves a study on inter-organisational projects with the focus on public-private relationships.
Dr Ruuska has lectured and taught in various organisations on competence and knowledge management.
