People - PhD Candidate Sergiy Protsiv
Sergiy Protsiv is currently enrolled as a PhD Candidate at the Stockholm School of Economics and is a recent graduate from its International Graduate Program. His main research interests are in the area of clusters and regional competitiveness. Sergiy is also involved in the SSE doctoral program in economic statistics, where his research is mainly concerned with structural equation modeling.
Sergiy joined CSC in December 2006 to work on the Europe INNOVA Cluster-Mapping project as the coordinator of the European Cluster Observatory database and website, in collaboration with Göran Lindqvist. The first results of the project can now be accessed at www.clusterobservatory.eu
Sergiy is a Ukrainian national and received his BA in Economics from the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in 2005. He has a strong quantitative background and has won a number of awards in regional competitions in mathematics.
