Stockholm School of Economics in Riga
The Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (SSE Riga) was founded in 1993 and opened its doors to the first class of students in 1994. SSE Riga is owned by SSE (51 percent) and the Latvian Government (49 percent). The Swedish and Latvian governments as well as private donors contribute to the financing of the School. SSE Riga offers a tuition-free three-year Bachelor of Science program (BSc) in economics and business as well as an international Executive MBA-program. The BSc program is open to students from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. More than 1600 students apply to SSE Riga each year and 115 are admitted. The BSc program is internationally accredited. The School has an international faculty and the language of instruction is English.
